IE风雨12年
大部分Windows用户都用过多个版本的Internet Explorer。而微软的IE更新到7的时候，他的年龄已经有12岁了。12年来，IE由Nescape阴影下孱弱的孩子，通过系统捆绑的方式，成为行业的老大。[img]http://publish.it168.com/2007/0510/images/423295.jpg[/img]
每当新版本发布，我们进入新的用户界面，体验新的功能，逐渐淡忘上一个版本。目前，我们正在向IE 7转移的过程中。本文将用图片方式回顾微软IE 的历史。
这些图片包括用户界面，设置对话框，涵盖从Internet Explorer 1 到Internet Explorer 7 的各个版本。
一、微软Internet Explorer 1
1995年8月，微软发布Windows 95 Plus! Pack，其中包括了Internet Explorer 1。
值得注意的是微软采用了NCSA Mosaic的版本号，而并没有将其命名为version 1。

最初的Internet Explorer的桌面图标，名为“The Internet”。

二、微软Internet Explorer 2.0
1995年11月，微软同时发布了Windows和Mac系统下的Internet Explorer 2。该版本支持JavaScript,，框架（frames）, 加密套接字协议层（SSL），cookies和新闻组（NNTP）。
注意到这次明确的称为version 2，但是在括号中仍然保留NCSA Mosaic的版本号。微软在IE 2的工具栏中增加了一些按钮。

三、微软Internet Explorer 3.0
1996年8月，微软发布了Windows 95 OSR2，Internet Explorer 3捆绑其中。该版本支持CSS，能够显示gifs和jpg图片，播放midi声音文件，并且开始使用蓝色“e”字母的图标。
Internet Explorer 3的工具栏更加精致，并且可以自定义背景。工具栏上蓝色“e”的图标改善了感观。

四、微软Internet Explorer 4.0
微软发布Internet Explorer 4 是在1997年9月。但直到微软在1998年6月发布捆绑该版本的Windows 98后，Internet Explorer 4 才成为主流。该版本出现恢复“Active Desktop”功能，并支持DHTML。
蓝色“e”图标成为桌面快捷方式的icon。在桌面上还有“Channel Bar”。

五、微软Internet Explorer 5.0
1999年5月，微软发布Windows 98 Second Edition，捆绑了Internet Explorer 5。该版本支持XML，XSL，改善了CSS功能。
重大变化是在Internet Explorer 5 中的地址栏增加了“转到（Go）”按钮。

六、微软Internet Explorer 5.5
2000年9月，微软发布了Windows Millennium Edition，捆绑了Internet Explorer 5.5。该版本大部分改进在外表以内，这是首个支持128位加密的版本。 Messenger的图标进入了Internet Explorer 5.5的工具栏。

七、微软Internet Explorer 6
2001年10月，微软发布了Windows XP，捆绑了Internet Explorer 6。该版本能够自动调整图片大小，和打印预览。在后来的Windows XP SP2中，Internet Explorer 6增加了弹出窗口拦截功能。为了配合Windows XP新的Luma桌面主题，Internet Explorer 6的桌面图标色彩更加艳丽。

Internet Explorer 6工具栏上按钮终于变成了彩色。新的彩色旗帜的logo看起来更加清爽。

“Internet选项”对话框增加了“隐私”选项卡，其中可以清除Cookies。

八、微软Internet Explorer 7
2006年下半年，微软发布了Windows Internet Explorer 7，不同与以前的版本Microsoft Internet Explorer的名称，2007年1月发布的Windows Vista捆绑了Internet Explorer 7。该版本支持标签式浏览，RSS，页面缩放，集成搜索，在安全性上增加反钓鱼等功能。为了配合Windows Vista新的Aero主题风格，桌面图标显示出玻璃视觉效果。
工具栏精致的设计和标签式浏览的外观使Internet Explorer 7取得革命性的变化.
